My Therapeutic Focus
Mental Health Counseling in English and Spanish for:
- Adults (19 and up)
- Relationship Counseling for couples, families and other socially relevant dynamics.
- Groups
*I do not see clients under 19 at this time.
I am happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues in the community.
My Approach
I approach the relationship with my clients as a collaboration that is rich in support, compassion and acceptance. You are free to show up just as you are.
I practice person-centered therapy, focusing on all parts of the self: mental, physical, social, emotional, creative, and intellectual needs. I am passionate about bringing traditional modalities into session, such as breathwork, yoga, energy healing, curanderismo and cultural practices, to name a few.
What's my therapy style?
I like to go in depth, giving you the space to explore, question and process. I draw from multiple modalities as I get to know my clients and their specific needs.

About Coral
I am a fully bilingual (English/Spanish) mental health therapist.
I am originally from Puerto Rico, but have lived around the world. I am passionate about connecting with and educating with those who especially feel that therapy is not something they have access to.
I love incorporating an Integrative approach to our work. I honor the traditions of our ancestors and welcome the wisdom they provide in my work with you. My approach as a therapist incorporates energy work, nutritional psychiatry, curanderismo, yoga, sound healing and herbalism. Taking care of the whole self is the cornerstone of my practice.
Here's a little bit about me:
- I have a B.A. in History and a minor in English Literature from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
- I have a Double Master's in International Relations and International Communication from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
- I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
- I am a certified yoga teacher ( 200 hr YTT) under the Yoga Alliance
- I am a Reiki Master/ Teacher under the Usui Reiki lineage
- I am a Certified Sound Bowl Healing Practitioner
